Available Modules
Cross Section Editor: The Cross Section Editor is used to design, calculate and optimize Thin Walled Cross-Sections for best crash performances. A number of edit tools are available which will enable the user to easily modify the geometry of a cross section. This software provides Design Recommendations which help the user to achieve best crash performance of the designed cross section. Results of calculations for a cross section are grouped in 6 categories: Axial Crushing, Design Recommendations, Bending, Elastic Properties, Torsion, Lateral Response, Denting
Material Editor: CCC gives the possibility of detailed definition of Material assigned to segments of the designed cross section. The Material is described by five groups of data; 1) Material Constraints, 2) Stress Strain Characteristic, 3) Strain Rate Characteristic, 4) Cross Section Optimizer, 5) Compare Cross Sections tool
Cross Section Optimizer: Provides the possibility to automatically optimize Cross Sections. Based on the genetic algorithm, and the calculation algorithms of the CCC Cross Section Editor.
Cross Section, Material and Characteristic Repository: Enables the user to create a personal Cross Section, Material and Characteristic library which can be used, saved and enlarged in any new Solution.
Cross Section Comparison tool: Provides an easy to read diagram illustrating the results of selected cross sections.
Results Report: Tool for automatic creation of an overall results report of number of cross sections in xml format
All modules of Crash Cad Calculate are included in the APA version.
