Modules & Specifications
CAEfatigue VIBRATION is supported on Windows 64 bit and Linux 64 bit.
Module 1: Random Response
The Random Response module is designed to provide the user with the response of a structure from a single random PSD input. Response outputs includes mean stress, RMS stress or strain, mean stress plus RMS stress or strain, moments, zero crossings, peaks per second and irregularity factor. Inputs can come from OptiStruct, Nastran, Ansys or Abaqus for virtually any size model. No deterministic loads or mean offsets are permitted.
Module 2: Random Only Fatigue Module
The Random Response Plus Fatigue module give you the random response outputs of module 1 plus the ability to generate fatigue results including damage, life and margin of safety.
Module 3: Random Response Plus Full Fatigue
The Random Response Plus Full Fatigue module offers all the output options of modules 1 and 2 with the added benefit of allowing a single random input with deterministic inputs and mean offsets. Examples of inputs are simultaneous wide band and narrow band inputs, wide band random and swept sine inputs, wide band random and deterministic inputs, wide band and swept narrow band inputs, swept narrow band or swept sine wave.
Module 4: Random Response Plus Multiple Loading Fatigue
The Random Response Plus Multiple Loading Fatigue module offers all the output options from model 3 plus multiple random inputs with deterministic inputs and mean offsets. The module offers random response and S-N or E-N fatigue results for multiple simultaneous correlated load inputs with any number of DOF’s, inputs, events and frequencies.
