Simulation cycle of short fiber reinforced, injection molded components

The training covers the basics running a injection molding simulation using ALTAIR SimlabMold, the material model development process using ALTAIR Multiscale Designer and how to map the results of the molding simulation ( fiber orientation tensors) on the structural model and how to combine the fiber orientation with the multiscale material model in a implicit and explicit simulation (Optistruct and Radioss).

The goal of the training is to teach the full simulation cycle of short fiber reinforced, injection molded components and enable the participant to efficiently apply the process to their components.

Complementary to this training we offer product focused trainings for each of the tools used, to provide a deeper knowledge on each step of the full process.



The online training is split into three days of two hours each, covering following topics:

Day 1:
    Injection Molding Simulation using ALTAIR Simlab Mold

Day 2:
    Material Model Development using ALTAIR Multiscale Designer

Day 3:
    Running implicit or explicit analysis using ALTAIR Optistruct and RADIOSS

Training hours
Day 1: 2:00 PM - 06:00 PM (CEST)
Day 2: 3:00 PM - 05:00 PM (CEST)
Day 3: 3:00 PM - 05:00 PM (CEST)
