OptiStruct Optimization using HyperWorks

This is an introductory course for using OptiStruct for optimization in the product design process. Students will learn optimization concepts and do hands-on exercises for topology, topography, size, and shape optimizations. Class Format 3 days Instructor led Presentation and hands-on exercises One student to a computer Topics Topology, topography, size and shape optimization concepts Pre-processing for OptiStruct using HyperMesh Linear static and normal mode analysis with OptiStruct prior to optimization Results visualization with HyperMesh and HyperView Topology optimization with manufacturing constraints Combined topology and topography optimization Geometric data generation of new design concept using OSSmooth which is part of OptiStruct Shape generation using HyperMorph which is a part of HyperMesh 2D and 3D shape optimization 1D and 2D size optimization
