Introduction to FEA
This course is intended to provide an introduction to the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method for structural analysis. Students are expected to have a engineering background but they do not need to have experience with FEA. Students will learn the basic steps to set up an FEA job, the issues to consider in setting up a job, and how to interpret the results.
